description Diversidoris flava is a fairly common nudibranch, widely distributed in the Indo-Pacific. The coat, rhinophore and gills are pale yellow. The coat is bordered by a red piercing line. The curved coat edge shows the body a characteristic hourglass shape.
Diversidoris flava is a food specialty, feeds on yellow sponges of the genus Hyrtios.
